Hello and welcome to our thinking team

Welcome …… thank you for stepping into this space and for your curiosity about learning new ways of thinking.

This blog will touch upon areas of new discovery, always asking the question ” how does this apply to the way we think, imagine our futures, influence ourselves and others, create new possibilities?”.

Let’s explore together the worlds of quantum physics, of cell biology and brain physiology, and of energy fields, to name a few.

Let’s be more observant of the world around and within us, looking at nature to give us deeper insights about ourselves. As an example, if you are familiar with fractals and spirals you’ll already be aware of the infinite intelligence behind the structure of the universe. How does what we see help us to discover the unseen?

Let’s look at new theories and discuss how these apply to how we think and shape our own futures. A few of my favourite areas are thinking styles and perception, the biology of belief, and the holographic universe. What are yours?

And this being a blog, it’s easy for you to add your thoughts and ideas, to share your experiences and to create new discussion by writing in the comment section at the end of every blog post. To do this click on the subject line of the post and the screen will display that one post and open up a comment box at the end of the post. You can write as much or as little as you like 🙂

Thank you for joining us here and co-creating these moments in time and space!

Happy Valentine’s Day – Listen to your Heart

“All types of creativity, and especially creativity for solving problems, can be accessed through listening to your heart’s intuitive feelings, your heart intelligence.”

from “Heart-Based Living” by Doc Childre

“The heart is the most powerful source of electromagnetic energy in the human body, producing the largest rhythmic electromagnetic field of any of the body’s organs. The heart’s electrical field is about 60 times greater in amplitude than the electrical activity generated by the brain. This field, measured in the form of an electrocardiogram (ECG), can be detected anywhere on the surface of the body. Furthermore, the magnetic field produced by the heart is more than 100 times greater in strength than the field generated by the brain and can be detected up to 3 feet away from the body, in all directions, using SQUID-based magnetometers.” Heart Math Institute

Secret Patterns of Nature, Mathematics, Fibonacci & Pi

I just can’t think how to explain this – it is so beyond amazing!

Decoding the Secret Patterns of Nature – Fibonacci Ratio & π

After watching I start to think …

….. can mathematics explain everything?

….. how much of what we perceive can be explained by what we believe to be true?

We only know what we know.
Therefore, what about the vastness we do not even perceive to be there?

It is only by experiencing processes like meditation and Resonance Repatterning, that I know (rather than believe) that we are made up of energy waves of light and sound, and have reached the conclusion that what we perceive is only a tiny fraction of what exists.

There is a vast intelligence out there and it shows up in these magical forms and number sequences explained in this video.

This Divine intelligence that governs all things is brilliant!

Welcoming a new vision for a new year

Personal Post by Carole Brown – Published at the RPA’s Repatterning Journal 1st January 2018.

I received a wonderfully gentle resonance repatterning session at the start of the year which left me feeling relaxed in my body in a way that I have never felt before. I can only describe it as a kind of liquid warmth, melting quietly and calmly into me. The image that comes to mind is of golden molten light, like the sun’s rays reflecting on gentle waves that are smooth and curvy and so so quiet.  And the sound is of aaaaaahhhh ….. and mmmmmmm …. almost imperceptible.

source: writerscafe.org/writing/cfroman/747169

How welcome this feeling is at the end of a week where my mind is tired from working on the computer.

Thinking about the New Year and of what to write here has also been a central theme. It being THE time that many of us talk about setting our goals for the year ahead or making new year resolutions, pondering how to show up in the world, shiny and bright, with purpose and passion, I had thought this would be a good topic for the beginning of January.

Until now that is, when Resonance Repatterning stops me in my tracks and gives me something more majestic to ponder.

One statement today captured me as I was asked to repeat its words. I hardly ever recall what comes up in a repatterning session afterwards (either when giving or receiving) yet today this statement sits boldly before me.

“My inner light gives me clear vision”

…. These words make me pause …. and become still.

When I expected to be writing about setting intentions and goals, seeing them out there ahead of me, illuminated clearly between me and the horizon, I did not anticipate being brought back here, to stand in the midst, to be in the moment, to experience the light inside.

No matter how much I know that we are connected to the source and that all we need is already within us, I am still drawn to thinking that I need to set my sights on things outside of me, things I need to accomplish, and achievements that will make me feel accomplished.

To notice how my mind can put out these persuasive messages, that this time “I just need to set New Year’s resolutions in a more effective way in order to achieve them”, is enough to call its bluff. Thank God for resonance repatterning and the way it reminds me to let go of the repetitive patterns that do not work for me, like trying to set ever better new year resolutions or life goals.

Instead it reminds me to relax and step into the light within, trusting it to illuminate where I go and how I shine.

How magical a gift is resonance repatterning, enabling us to tap into the wisdom within and all around us, and to reconnect to our inner vision.
What a wonderful process to help us see our light within and reflect it around the globe.

Chloe Wordsworth and Resonance Repatterning

Here’s a post of mine from

Chloe Wordsworth is a thought leader for sure. She has been developing Resonance Repatterning (also known as Holographic Repatterning) and refining this system for almost forty years.

Resonance Repatterning, is one of the most powerful transformative approaches I have experienced. It gives us a new way of listening deep within ourselves and working with our inner wisdom, through accessing the quantum field and the world of frequencies and vibrations within and all around us.

I first met and trained with Chloe in 2000. From her background in acupuncture and polarity therapy and knowledge of many other healing modalities, Chloe developed her holographic approach to healing. Resonance Repatterning uses our muscle response (from applied kinesiology) to answer questions not from our conscious mind but from our unconscious self, and accesses our energy field to identify our patterns. At any moment in time, it gives us the ability to identify which positive aspects we are now ready to resonate with and which negative patterns we are ready to let go of. It is then possible to find and experience the specific healing modalities suited to the issue we are working on. Afterwards, we find ourselves resonating with new, healthy ways of being and of managing our interactions with others and the world. Our negative coping strategies and self defeating patterns are replaced with positive ones and we find ourselves attuned in ways that enrich our lives and our relationships.

For an explanation of Resonance Repatterning by Chloe herself, take a look at these youtube videos:

Part Onerr-chloe-you-tube-video-part-1

Part Two

I experience Resonance Repatterning (RR) as a beautiful way to create the harmony that my mind, body, heart and soul desire. I am so grateful to Chloe for bringing this approach into the world and for her dedication to continually improving this body of work.

The Resonance Repatterning system can help us look at all kinds of issues in our work, lives, relationships and re-pattern how we manage them.

Some of the areas that my business clients have found most valuable are:

  • Stress and understanding how fast our automatic responses take over
  • Understanding why our thought patterns exert such control
  • Why it is important to connect with Heart and Mind at work

These days we see numerous books and seminars about Self Mastery. In my experience RR is one of the most powerful transformative tools out there. When I coach, I use it alongside whole brain thinking and creative visualisation to open the mind and introduce my clients to thinking in new ways and looking at life from an entirely different perspective.

If you have any friends who you think would like to know about Resonance Repatterning, there are buttons below to help you share on social media.  You can reach me through the Contact page. Thank you.

There is more to the brain than you think!

Joe Dispenza Video

One of the aspects that I chose for excellent leadership is that of being spiritual. Spiritual is a hard word to define but for me the content of this talk by Joe Dispenza encapsulates spirituality and wisdom. By that I mean it explores the laws of nature that go beyond the realm of what we can see and what has been reported by science alone, involving the way that human beings function and the way we connect with each other and the universe.

I hope you enjoy this video. I needed to look at it several times before I could start to comprehend all the links that Dr Dispenza talks about between thoughts, behaviours, feelings, neuro-biology, neuro-circuitry, neurochemistry, etc, etc.
I would love to receive your comments on this and also your recommendations for further reading on the topic.

Elisabet Sahtouris on “Transformation from caterpillar to butterfly”

Today I was reading about Elisabet Sahtouris, American/Greek biological philosopher, educator and writer. On her website there is a beautiful and thought-provoking piece about the transformation from caterpillar to butterfly, which I reproduce below. I hope you can add your comments at the end and mention inspirational people you know to be other “imaginal cells” with whom we can connect and build a more conscious future for all!:

A caterpillar can eat up to three hundred times its own weight in a day, devastating many plants in the process, continuing to eat until it’s so bloated that it hangs itself up and goes to sleep, its skin hardening into a chrysalis. Then, within the chrysalis, within the body of the dormant caterpillar, a new and very different kind of creature, the butterfly, starts to form. This confused biologists for a long time. How could a different genome plan exist within the caterpillar to form a different creature? They knew that metamorphosis occurs in a number of insect species, but it was not known until quite recently that nature did a lot of mixing and matching of very different genome/protein configurations in early evolutionary times. Cells with the butterfly genome were held as disc like aggregates of stem cells that biologists call ‘imaginal cells’, hidden away inside the caterpillar’ all its life, remaining undeveloped until the crisis of overeating, fatigue and breakdown allows them to develop, gradually replacing the caterpillar with a butterfly!

Such metamorphosis makes a good metaphor for the great changes globalisation, in the sense of world transformation, is bringing about, as Norie Huddle first used it in her beautiful book Butterfly. Our bloated old system is rapidly becoming defunct while the vision of a new and very different society, long held by many ‘imaginal cell’ humans who dreamt of a better world, is now emerging like a butterfly, representing our solutions to the crises of predation, overconsumption and breakdown in a new way of living lightly on Earth, and of seeing our human society not in the metaphors and models of mechanism as well-oiled social machinery, but in those of evolving, self-organizing and intelligent living organism.

If you want a butterfly world, don’t step on the caterpillar, but join forces with other imaginal cells to build a better future for all!

Isabel Rimanoczy on Time … and Meaning

I find this video of Isabel Rimanoczy truly inspiring. I hope this story and the way it is told touches your heart, as it did mine.

I had the honor of assisting Isabel with a presentation at an Action Learning Conference in London in 2008. At that time, she was in the midst of developing her unique approach to opening others’ minds and hearts, through her creation of “The Sustainability Mindset”.

Clearly Isabel has come into her own with her work in this area, a clear illustration of what happens when a person follows their heart’s desire and makes an imprint on the world that resonates with their spirit.

I feel that it’s no coincidence that I chose to open Isabel’s video at this precise moment in time, a time when I have been asking myself the question “What to I want to do with my life in the time I have left?”

As I attempt to share my heart-warming response provoked by Isabel’s talk, here in this post, it is my intention to send to each of you a message of love and hope ….. that we may each find our most important meaning in this life and our best way to wisely spend our time.

Here’s Isabel’s TED video

Your Brain Isn’t a Computer — It’s a Quantum Field

I found a fascinating article on the ‘Big Think’ blog, entitled “Your Brain Isn’t a Computer — It’s a Quantum Field”.

Here’s an excerpt*….

The mind, according to quantum cognition, “gambles” with our “uncertain” reason, feelings, and biases to produce competing thoughts, ideas, and opinions. Then we synthesize those competing options to relate to our relatively “certain” realities. By examining our minds at a quantum level, we change them, and by changing them, we change the reality that shapes them.

Changing the metaphors we use to understand the world — especially the quantum metaphor — can yield amazing insights. Jonathan Keats, experimental philosopher, explains:

Deepak Chopra on What is Consciousness?

I have enjoyed reading Deepak Chopra’s books for some years now.
One book in particular that I like is called The Seven Spiritual Laws of Success

It is a wonderful introduction to our spiritual nature and how we are part of the field of pure potentiality.
What I also love about this book is that Deepak suggests we all read the same chapter on the same day of the week, that is on the first day we all read Chapter One and the second day, Chapter Two … and so on.
I love the idea that I can be reading the same words at the same time you are reading them. It’s a more conscious form of synchronicity.

Talking of consciousness, recently I also saw a short video by Deepak Chopra when Joan Borysenko mentioned it on her Facebook page.

It is called  “What is Consciousness? | THE RABBIT HOLE with Deepak Chopra”

You can watch the video on youtube and listen to Deepak’s rich and vibrant tones talking about our true nature and describing the realm of quantum reality. He says “There is no matter. What we think of as tiny particles are actually not material at all but waves of potential. The physical world as we see it is not reality.” …
He talks about the true nature of reality being pure potential, infinite possibilities, infinite creativity.
“This true reality has no beginning and no end. It does not exist in space and time; space and time exist within it! And this we call Consciousness“.
